Author Visits - reading Jack Feels Big

I'm promoting my book by reading it in schools, ECE centres and similar groups. If you know somewhere I should visit, you can let me know by filling out their information below.

The book is made up of five stories to help kids learn important feelings words (Overwhelmed, Persistent, Frustrated, Lonely and Brave). The te reo Māori and New Zealand Sign Language for each word is included.

The stories are simple and well illustrated. They're at just the right level for the older group of a preschool or the Grade 0-2 kids at a primary school. Reading the stories takes about fifteen minutes, including showing the kids how to make the NZSL sign for Frustrated. If the kids are capable, I can answer some questions too.

My current plan is for Auckland visits in February and lower North Island in term 2. Even if your group is elsewhere in the country, filling out the information below means I'll get in touch with you as soon as I've got plans to head your way. And if I've got people to visit, that means I'm more likely to head that way!

You can fill your details below, or on the stand-alone form here, or drop me a line at adam@jackfeelsbig.nz
